Using Model Overlay
AGi32 allows any of your information from Model mode to be superimposed with the rendered image. This can be calculated values, isolines, highlighted values, CAD backgrounds and more. This is often useful for presentation purposes. The overlay can be used in RGB or Pseudocolor views.
- Turn off pseudocolor from the button at the bottom of the screen.
- Click on the small black arrow next to the Model Overlay button (next to Pseudocolor) and select Settings.
- In the dialog check the Model Mode Overlay box at the top.
- Uncheck the Luminaires and Rooms/Objects boxes.
- Click OK. We will see the calculated values and CAD import superimposed.
- Click on Top View button on the upper toolbar.
You can zoom to any area of interest in the model and set a viewpoint. Viewpoints can have overlay on or off, pseudocolor on or off. Textures on or off, etc. The viewpoints will remember their settings and be captured that way for Reports, be sure and enable Antialiasing! If this mention of output via Reports is new to you, please return to the Basic Interior Lighting Course here online, this is where that material is covered.
